In 2017, Meridiam Partners constructed a flooded wetland habitat for agriculture and waterfowl at the Double K Ranch near Fort Morgan, Colorado. Project construction was completed in collaboration with engineers at Ducks Unlimited and consisted of approximately 9,000 cubic yards of earthwork, inlet well pipe design and installation, outlet structure and pipe design/ installation, grading, and riprap.

Collaboration on the project with the owner was instrumental in modifying the design to accommodate deeper wetland pond sections for waterfowl habitat and longevity of water storage. An island was also incorporated with a concrete structure to be used as a waterfowl hunting blind in the future.

Working with Meridiam Partners was terrific. The company brings vast project knowledge and delivers an excellent customer experience. The Meridiam team showed their ability to be adaptive throughout the process and did a great job of providing guidance and flexibility with the end result of an amazing project on the ground. We could not more highly recommend Meridiam Partners and cannot wait to work with them in the future.  -Double K Ranch

An in-kind donation of 2,990.96 was presented to the owner on the project in order to receive matching funds from Ducks Unlimited. The project was completed on-time and within budget.
